She was born in Rosario, a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. She studied English Translation and English Teacher Training in Rosario and started publishing in a neighbouring town called Granadero Baigorria –where she lived and wrote  for 14 years- under the pen name of Marian Molinos Robles.

She has published poems in several Anthologies and regional magazines, besides three books: “Stories and Poems for Children”, “Love Anthology” (both published in Argentina) and “Agreement with the Rosebush” (book of poems published in Mexico, DF).

She attended several poetic festivals,literary meetings and international congresses for poets in Argentina, México, Cuba and Spain.

She was distinguished as Cultural Ambasadoress of Granadero Baigorria Town, due to her various trips and colaborations as coordinator of Literary Workshops in the Cultural House.

 

Since June 2001, she has been living in Pontevedra, a well-known town on the Galician Rías Bajas (Spain), where she develops a constant literary work –poetry, short stories and novel-  together with her attendance to several events and the  publishing of poems both in Spanish and Galician language (spoken by her ancestors and recouped by her by studies and practice) in Anthologies in  Spain and Argentina, regional publications (AUCA, in Alicante; Hola Pontevedra) and international ones (Canada, Canadian Association of Hispanists, etc). She  stopped using her pen name as soon as she hybrid condition was clear and is currently known as Marian Muiños.

Her writings appear mainly in Argentinian and Spanish radio programs and literary magazines, as well as in some internet sites.

She is presently editor and director of the Gazette Acuarela Literaria, devoted to poetry, as an extension of the so called magazine in Argentina.

She is a member of RELAT (Latin American Writers Web) and of AEAE (Spanish Writers and Artists Association), with whom shares poems in the Anthology called “Confluencias”( 2005).

 

She is presently devoting her time to updating her knowledge of the English language and getting higher degrees at Cambridge Examinations (Level C2 in the Council of Europe Common European Framework, that is Level 3 in the UK National Qualifications Framework), as the same time she works as a English Teacher and Translator and as a Coordinator of Literary Workshops, being communication and sharing of knowledge her main vocational goal.
