POETRY

PEACE ALBATROSS

Albatross unfold

their wings in skies

in a target that creates

and shelters to all the races

with height music,

come with perfume kiss

to nourish spilled blood

and the scent of the misfortune,

in peace constellation

reunites songs of all the human species,

they drink in the colours of the different  skins

blues dawns,

and extinguish cruel winds ,

join sea and sky,

they bring a love that beats storms,

open consciences

repeal sores

conjure  the violence. . .

ALBATROS  DE  PAZ

Albatros despliegan

sus alas en los cielos

en un blanco que crea

y abriga a todas las razas

con música de altura,

vienen con beso de perfume

a apaciguar la  sangre derramada

y el olor de la desdicha,

en constelación de paz reúnen

cantos de  toda la especie humana,

beben en los colores

de las distintas pieles

azules amaneceres,

y extinguen vientos crueles

juntan  mar y cielo,

traen un amor que bate tormentas,

abren conciencias

derogan llagas

hechizan la violencia . . .

BOCETO INCOMPLETO

                                                   A mi hija María Verónica

Sus orejas

dalias frescas,

laberintos rosado,

espirales pequeñas,

dulces caracolas

invitan al suave beso de mi boca.

Sus manos,

hasta que yo no  las tomo entre las mías

opacos nidos gastados,

no se pueden estar quietas,

traviesas y tiernas avecillas,

cuando se retiran dejan en mis palmas

chispas amarillas.

Dos senderos oblicuos

de pelusa suave,

dos líneas ascendentes,

dos flechas rubias

subrayan y rubrican su frente.

Caminos delgados,

paraguas de sus claros ojos,

trazos firmes que el viento no despeina

y sí lo hace el enojo,

sus cejas

señales de reina.

SKETCH OUTLINE

                   To my daughter  María Verónica

Her ears,

fresh dahlias,

pink tangles,

tiny spirals,

sweet sea shells

ask for the soft kiss of my mouth.

Her hands,

not until I take them between mine

-dark worn nests –

will they stay still

mischievous and tender birds ,

when they go away they leave on my palms

yellow sparkles.

Two oblique paths

of soft fluff,

two ascending lines,

two blonde arrows

underline and seal her fore head.

Narrow ways,

umbrellas to her clear eyes,

steady strokes which the wind not disturb,

but anger will,

Her eyebrows,

the signs of a queen.

DESNUTRICIÓN

Anteayer niños.

Ayer, vientres abultados

y ojos abismados.

Hoy,

Angeles.

( Cautos entre las nubes

desnudos, des-alados

UNDERNOURSHMENT

The day before yesterday

children.

Yesterday, bulky bellies

and sunken eyes.

Today

angels.

( Cautious among clouds

naked, unwinged

they take the seeds

of their unlived lives )

Children who are our sons,

children brothers,

our children

in a world of blind eyes

and blind heart.

Livid embers grow in the soul

where truth is  a  green firewood

which does not burn

moist in shame, fury and tears.
