Selected  poems :

SUPPERESSED  WISH

The seller- girl  of flowers

May get bored with  the fragrance

But  no  one  knows

How  much  she  wishes  to  be

gifted  a  rose .

FAREWELL
She  has  kept  silent  to  let  me  listen

When  I  saluted  with  my  longing

and      effluence  ,

Her  tears  were  watering her  fingers

at  once  .

She forgot  her  tears  talking  into  my  hand

While  I  forgot  my  soul  playing  around

her     silence ,

Like  an  orphan  child  .

THE  TURTLE

The  turtle  is the  diviner  of  time

and  wealth

Never  searching  for  life  or  death

Never carrying  the  agony  of  yesterday ,

Sadness  of  the  present  day ,

Question  of  the  morrow

So,  she  hasn’t  a  wristwatch,

Or  an  intended  way .

THE  TRAGEDY OF THE RAM

(1)

He  seems  sick  and  very  old

Walking  with  shaken  legs

Became  outcast  neither  in

Sheepwalk  nor  sheepfold  .

His  neck  is  bent as  the bow

Of   sorrow

His sight  is  narrow .

(2)

He  had  a  majestic  bell

Which  was  directing  pastures

One  time

The  horizon  was  listening  carefully

To  its  rhyme

He  used  to  strut  in  front  of  the  group

Like  venerated  Prince

Now , he  is  behind  the  troop

With  much  penitence

He  is  lagging  while  pulling  sentence

The  shepherd  is  pushing  him  up

And  prick

By  the  dog  and  the  stick .

(3)

The  ram  raised  his  horn

And  shook  the  bell

Then  said :

I am  the  Eternal  Ram ,  Leader   of  the  range

I will  never  be  dead  ,

So  I am  living  beyond  the  age  .

WHY I LOVE YOU  !

When you passed by me

My heart  turned into children park

When you gifted me with your smile

My mouth became a singing lark !

When you shook  gently my hand

My fingers changed to be a flute

When you said : How do you do ?

God forgave all my sins

When I went for a walk with you

You surely were all my kins

When I took you into my arms

I forgot who I am and who you are

Do you  know now , why I love you ?
