AWAKEN OTHERS

Thirst and hunger
… man’s dangerous enemies
Hatred and anger
… man’s deadly enemies.

Pleasure aplenty
If others’ distress we share,
Joys aplenty 
Love, if with others we share.

The strings of concern
Often break with individuality,
Heart’s garden of love look barren
Without a flower for humanity.

The streams of vengeance
The rivers of religious intolerance
Flow through Mother Earth’s glance
Ravaged, a near-death she experience.

Mankind, devoid of mercy element
Is bound to ruin the universal heart,
The day seems not far, O! wise-heart
Awaken others with love’s might.

A DAWNING REALITY

Life is a perpetual warfare
A warfare that keeps always going
It pounds the heart and thought
Tries and tries, again and again
To fascinate, motivate and deceive
One’s own self, with …..
An aspiration for joys and delights
A pining to fulfill lust and desires
A longing to seek love and warmth
A struggle to acquire name and fame
A longing to foil death and decay
A yearning for riches and comforts
A warfare against reality and illusion
Leaving all morals and ethics to fate.

Peace, if we choose as one shore
Uprightness as another if we choose
Life would be wonderful alike
A Beauteous full moon of love
An eternal cloud of bliss in life’s sky
A lighthouse of satisfaction, and
The very shores of a dawning reality.
